DESIGN TECHNOLOGY

UNDER CONSTRUCTION.... full revamp!

Design Technology, or DTE, is a hands-on action based exploratory where student use tools and technology of the past, present and future.  Working in both our FAB-LAB, and the classroom area students learn the principals, tricks, and techniques needed to function and contribute to our designed world.  Whether modeling a CAD wheel design for 3D printing or setting a toolpath of our CNC router students will ponder and problem solve across the DTE divide.

DTE is also interdisciplinary as it mixes the study of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.  Through design challenges and curricular units, DTE supports and helps to develop skills in these vital areas.
