5th & 6th Grade parents!

Your child is invited to our 5th and 6th grade student  party including music and dancing by Super Sounds, guessing games, fun surprises, basketball, munchies and  treats, face painting and more!

BRAG is very excited to put on the 5th and 6th grade party for the students, however there are still many slots to fill on the volunteer sign up and if these slots can not get filled we may have to cancel the party.  We have not had to do that in the past and really want to have this fun event for the students, however we can not run it with the few volunteers that have signed up as of now.  Please consider helping in some way to make sure this fun event can happen for your student.

With the overall goal of supporting healthy environments for our youth, the VT Youth Project officially kicked off last week with its first community meeting.  All 5 towns in our district will benefit from the work of this Project that utilizes real-time data to amplify and enhance great programs and efforts already happening in our communities and to identify new opportunities to provide healthy environments for youth.  Learn more about this exciting new project by watching this video of the meeting.

On December 5, 2019, K-8 schools in our District will host a team of educators from neighboring school systems, along with staff from the Vermont Agency of Education, as part of our triennial Integrated Field Review (IFR).  The IFR is a review of documents, interviews with students, parents, and staff, and observations of schools designed to reveal common practices in a supervisory union or school district. This is a collaborative and reciprocal process.  Staff members from our district will visit and review neighboring school systems in the weeks that follow.
